TEHRAN (IQNA) – This world is a place of creation and destruction. Even mankind who is the most important creation of God is born one day, grows up, makes progress and then loses abilities and dies ultimately.

Living in A World of Losing, Transience

Destruction is inherent in the world of matter. So now that we are in a world of annihilation, we should be ready to face losses.

One of the major issues that has always made mankind suffer throughout history is the fear of losing and he has always sought to find way to prevent loss.

When one considers something to be very important and gives it too much attention, he is always afraid of losing it and will become very disappointed and sad if that happens one day.

One who considers the world and its advantages too important cannot tolerate losing them.

The Holy Quran describes this world as transient and trivial and tells us not to attach too much significance to it.

“(Muhammad), tell them, ‘The pleasures of the worldly life are trivial. The life hereafter is best for the pious ones.” (Surah An-Nisa, Verse 77)

Because we are in a transient world, we should be ready to lose things. What matters is how to act so as to make things worthwhile.

We cannot prevent death. It will come one day for sure. But we can choose how to live. We will lose our childhood, youth, and life but it is important to live in such a way that we will have gained valuable things for them.

We are always in the process of losing things in life. We should take a path that makes it worth it.

If we realize that after this world, a better world is awaiting us, we would not be sorry for losing things here or for dying and leaving this world.

We should realize that there is no death but moving from one world to another.

What makes life worthwhile is reaching perfection. We should spend our life in trying to reach perfection and the first step in that direction is to realize what our duty is in this world.
